Elementary CEFR A2 skills and language systems covered
The tables below show the different language skills and systems (vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation) covered in each unit of the Navigate book at CEFR level A2 (Elementary) which is the coursebook used for the General English Course at Elementary Level.
The programme below is a sample programme as our teachers use supplementary material from other books to cover different areas of language related to the topic of each lesson.
At Elementary level teachers encourage students to start using the language and grammar points in context and simple real life situations through group work, pair work, presentations about different topics as well as speaking exercises. The focus is always on speaking as students who study with us always lack practice and cannot apply the areas of language in real life situations. Gaining confidence to speak the English language is a priority at this level.
