Our Summer English programmes for teens and young learners are well underway!

Summer in Full Swing at Gateway School of English GSE!

Summer has officially arrived at Gateway School of English GSE, and with it, an exciting season of Junior and Teen English Programmes that are now in full motion! Students from all over the world have joined us here in sunny Malta, bringing energy, curiosity, and a shared desire to improve their English while making lifelong memories.

From the moment they arrive, our young learners dive into a vibrant mix of engaging English lessons, cultural adventures, and thrilling outdoor activities. At GSE, learning English goes far beyond the classroom. Our communicative and student-centred approach helps students use the language in real-life situations — while building friendships with peers from different countries.

So far this summer, our students have enjoyed:

🌊 Kayaking and swimming at some of Malta’s most beautiful beaches
🏰 A thrilling Treasure Hunt in Mdina, the island’s ancient walled city
🏙️ A fun-filled exploration of Valletta with an exciting team treasure challenge
🌃 Evenings out in St. Julian’s and Sliema, enjoying seaside walks, shopping, and safe social time

These shared experiences make learning feel natural and exciting, and help students gain fluency and confidence without even realising they’re in class!

Our experienced teachers and friendly activity leaders ensure that every student feels supported and included — whether in the classroom, on an excursion, or simply hanging out with new international friends. GSE provides a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where language learning and personal growth go hand in hand.

And the summer’s far from over! With more adventures ahead — including non-alcoholic parties, cultural tours, beach games, and more — our students are in for an unforgettable experience.

GSE provides courses all year round for teens 11 to 17 years and also young learners 4 to 10 years.

These programmes and English courses for teens and children are separate from those of adults and in summer junior students learn in a separate building which is the San Gwann Primary school , located 10 minutes’ walk from the main school.
