English courses in Malta in September, free lessons in November, December, January and February.
We are now in the midst of summer with our students enjoying the beach while improving their English language skills, those who are after a combination of both and those who give priority to the academic aspect of their stay because they want to improve their English as fast as possible before they start university in a foreign country or a new job after the summer holidays. Whatever the goal, Gateway School of English GSE’s academic team all do their best to see the students progressing from one level to another and improving their English language skills to help them succeed.
In September GSE’s low season prices for courses and accommodation come into effect and students can benefit from cheaper prices for both courses and accommodation. As from Friday 30th August students can travel to Malta and follow an English language course at GSE while paying the winter / low season rates meaning that they can save about Euro 50 per week as low season rates for courses are Euro 50 cheaper per week than in July/August while still enjoying summer in Malta. Needless to mention that airlines also have discounted rates during the month of September thus students can also save on the cost of the airline ticket as well.
Accommodation prices from September onwards for both the school residence as well as host families are more than Euro 50 cheaper per week. GSE residence is comfortably located right next to the school and is available on B&B basis so prices include breakfast which is served daily in the residence canteen. The residence is also equipped with modern cooking facilities and the kitchen is open daily from 9am until 9pm. GSE residence offers the opportunity to students to interact with each other after classes as we have students from all over the world residing in the accommodation next to school. The homestay option is also popular among students who wish to have half board accommodation and meals prepared by the host parents while living with few other students but not as many as in the school residence i.e. more of a family atmosphere. Host family accommodation prices are also very favourable as from September starting from Euro 155 per week for a twin room on half board basis with a minimum duration of 8 weeks.
November, December, January and February have become very popular among our students as during these 4 months Gateway School of English GSE offers a free upgrade to Intensive English for students paying for a General English Course. But what does this mean exactly? Very simple. All students studying with us during these months, irrespective of the duration of stay or when they started the course and when they will finish the course, will pay for 20 lessons (price for 20 lessons per week depends on the duration of your stay and starts from Euro 75 per week for 24 weeks or more) and will get 30 lessons instead, so 10 free lessons per week!
During these 4 months from November 2019 until February 2020 we also offer 20% discount on the GSE residence low season (winter) prices. The accommodation prices in these 4 months start from Euro 104 per week for shared triple/quadruple room including breakfast and cooking facilities for students staying for 8 weeks or more. GSE Residence is located right next to the school, only 2 minutes from bedroom to classroom, and all prices include breakfast which is served daily Monday to Sunday. At GSE residence we provide coin operated air-conditioning facilities (heating/cooling) at very low prices. So all bedrooms at the GSE residence are equipped with heating during the winter months.

Short stays (1 to 7 weeks):
Standard low season price for triple/quad room including breakfast is Euro 151 per week. Discounted price Euro 121 per week.
Standard low season price for a twin room including breakfast is Euro 161 per week. Discounted price Euro 129 per week.
Standard low season price for a single room including breakfast is Euro 265 per week. Discounted price Euro 212 per week.
Long stays (8 weeks or more):
Standard low season price for triple/quad room including breakfast is Euro 130 per week. Discounted price Euro 104 per week.
Standard low season price for a twin room including breakfast is Euro 140 per week. Discounted price Euro 112 per week.
Standard low season price for a single room including breakfast is Euro 225 per week. Discounted price Euro 180 per week.
GSE is also OPEN during Christmas week and the school IS NOT closed for the holidays but remains open and lessons are held as usual. GSE is only closed on public holidays such as Christmas Day and New Years Day.
